Xenia 2019 impressed everybody

32,000 professionals from all the neuralgic sectors of the tourism industry were present confirming the significant contribution that this trade show has to the country’s heavy industry.

Xenia 2019 is completed with great success having for yet another year left its mark on the evolution of the successful tourism model of our country. Being the most important platform for closing business deals, it brought its 550 exhibitors in touch with 32,000 decision makers from 20,600 enterprises, giving them the opportunity to achieve quality and profitable partnerships.

Through this top trade show for our country’s tourism industry a huge range of products to upgrade services and infrastructure for hotels and tourist accommodations and quality infrastructure with a low environmental footprint were showcased, while, among others, the new international tourism trends were analyzed, essentially opening up new horizons to the Greek tourism product. Also, the construction industry attracted everyone’s attention as this year it was even broader, meeting the needs of even the most demanding customers. All the solutions for the construction, renovation and energy saving in hotels were showcased at 180 stands -including those leading enterprises in the industry – covering a total area of 12,500 sq.m.

Hotel Megatrends Project: Design & Sustainability were the center of attention

Hotel Megatrends, having “Innovation and Tradition” as its theme, for this year, was highly praised. Five renowned architects and designers presented correspondingly five innovative concepts for accommodation spaces on an area of 355 sq.m., placing architecture and design in the center as the key tools for the creation of a base for unforgettable experiences. In particular, visitors had the opportunity to see a Reception Lounge, a Boutique Room, a Studio Room, a Restaurant in Nature and a Smartech Space in real conditions. Megatrends’ innovation was not limited to the unparalleled aesthetics and utility of the aforementioned spaces as right next to it a dedicated space was set up for the purpose of hosting a series of speeches on topics such as architecture, construction materials, marketing, technology, ecology, hospitality trends etc.
