Deals, networking, innovation on the 1st day of the exhibition

The first day of XENIA 2024 was a great success! Owners and executives from Luxury Resorts, Boutique and City Hotels, Architects, Decorators, Lighting & Landscape designers, Civil Engineers, F&B managers and representatives of Hotel Groups met for networking and to discover innovative solutions from 500 exhibitors!

The most dynamic hospitality executives, who have either been active in the field for years or are taking their first steps and investing in the hospitality industry, who visited the exhibition spoke with company representatives about the real needs of their businesses. They found under the same roof products and services for a competitive, modern, with contemporary design and five-star services, business. Everyone was satisfied with the variety of solutions they found regarding energy saving and digital transformation as well as cost saving proposals for the operation of their businesses.

Also, both exhibitors targeting small-scale accommodation and those looking to collaborate with large-scale hotel units expressed particular satisfaction as it concerns the number of meaningful contacts they made already on the first day of the exhibition, as well as the level and clear commercial intentions of visitors.

The exhibition also hosted the General Assembly of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the most important institutional meeting for Greek hoteliers, which was attended by hundreds of hoteliers from all over the country.

Also, the opening ceremony of the exhibition brought together a large number of political and institutional representatives, from Greece and abroad.

Present at the opening of the exhibition were, in addition to important executives of the Hotel sector and the Tourism Industry, representatives of the political and institutional sectors, such as: Alexandros Vassilikos – President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, Ioannis Hatzis – President of the Panhellenic Federation of Hoteliers, Haris Doukas – Mayor of Athens, Giorgos Kavvathas – President of GSEVEE, Mamakos Athanasios – Mayor of Larisa region, Mouriadis Theodoros – Mayor of Kavala region, Angelidis Panagiotis I. – Deputy Mayor for Development and Tourism of Kavala, Dimitris Markou – Mayor of Spata Artemida, Andreas Fiorentinos – Secretary General of the Greek National Tourism Organization, Yiannis Triantafyllou – Director of the Secretariat of Productive Sectors of the New Democracy Party, Patrinos Nikolaos – Executive Director of Technopolis City of Athens, Panos Moraitis – President of SEEME, Haris Theocharis – Member of Parliament, Christina Kefalogianni – Deputy Governor of Attica.

Also, a large number of journalists were present at the opening ceremony as well as executives from the exhibition industry, including: the General Manager of ATHENS METROPOLITAN EXPO S.A., Mr. D. Marinos Marinos, the Commercial Director of ATHENS METROPOLITAN EXPO S.A., Mr. Petros Panias, Christos Bonas – General Manager of Expowork, as well as important executives from the business world of our country.
