Representatives from the political scene, the business world, as well as leading institutional bodies from the Hospitality industry attended the grand opening of XENIA 2024.
The official opening ceremony of XENIA 2024 exhibition was held with great success and in an atmosphere of enthusiasm at the METROPOLITAN EXPO exhibition center, on Saturday November 23rd, with the presence of representatives from the Hospitality Industry and political sector, by the Deputy Minister of Tourism Elena Rapti and on behalf of FORUM and the NürnbergMesse Group, Mr. Thanasis Panagoulias (President & CEO of FORUM SA), the Mayor of the city of Nuremberg and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the NürnbergMesse Group, Mr. Marcus König and Mr. Peter Ottmann, CEO of the NürnbergMesse Group.
The opening ceremony, which was coordinated by the Journalist Mr. Panagiotis Stathis while addressed were delivered by: the Mayor of the city of Nuremberg and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the NürnbergMesse Group, Mr. Marcus König, PASOK MP and Head of Tourism Sector, Mrs. Ekaterini Spyridaki, SYRIZA MP and Head of Tourism Sector, Mrs. Kalliopi Vetta, and Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Elena Rapti.

Present at the opening of the exhibition were, in addition to important executives of the Hotel sector and the Tourism Industry, representatives of the political and institutional sectors, such as: Alexandros Vassilikos – President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, Ioannis Hatzis – President of the Panhellenic Federation of Hoteliers, Haris Doukas – Mayor of Athens, Giorgos Kavvathas – President of GSEVEE, Mamakos Athanasios – Mayor of Larisa region, Mouriadis Theodoros – Mayor of Kavala region, Angelidis Panagiotis I. – Deputy Mayor for Development and Tourism of Kavala, Dimitris Markou – Mayor of Spata Artemida, Andreas Fiorentinos – Secretary General of the Greek National Tourism Organization, Yiannis Triantafyllou – Director of the Secretariat of Productive Sectors of the New Democracy Party, Patrinos Nikolaos – Executive Director of Technopolis City of Athens, Panos Moraitis – President of SEEME, Haris Theocharis – Member of Parliament, Christina Kefalogianni – Deputy Governor of Attica.
