XENIA is not just an exhibition but a vibrant, interactive event that generates millions in deals and networking opportunities. The 2024 event confirmed that in the most resounding way, and it was a triumphant success.

Dynamic business relationships were created, valuable discussions were held, strong commercial agreements were closed, in the country’s fastest growing networking, investment and knowledge hub for the tourism industry. At XENIA 2024.

30,794 hospitality professionals sought solutions to meet the demands of a new era in the global tourism market. They discussed with exhibitor executives’ quality proposals and ideas for sustainability, energy and technological upgrades, which at the same time preserve and highlight the authenticity and uniqueness of their tourist accommodation.

Every hotelier, architect, civil engineer, decorator, f&b manager and tourism professional who wanted to find modern equipment, original ideas and design proposals, amenities and services, for every type and size of accommodation, which play a vital role in creating an unforgettable experience for the visitor, was here.

It is worth noting that among the visitors, there were also important executives from hotel groups based abroad and specifically from Balkan countries, the Middle East, Cyprus, major European tourist destinations, but also from America and India. These businessmen visited XENIA, looking for premium products and services, confirming the dynamic of the exhibition beyond its borders.

Also, with a record participation of hoteliers from all over Greece – more than 900 – the 12th General Assembly of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels was held during the exhibition on Saturday, November 23rd. The main topic of the General Assembly was the challenges facing the Hospitality sector both in the international and national level and the need for immediate action to ensure the sustainable development of Greek tourism as well as further strengthening Greece’s image as an ideal global destination.

Workshops & Projects that informed, inspired and highlighted industry trends

The workshops of the Xenia exhibition were once again a place for the exchange of ideas and knowledge, a channel of communication between distinguished speakers and executives of the Tourism industry, but also an opportunity for inspiration and dissemination of innovative ideas and proposals. At Digi Hotel Stage, topics such as: artificial intelligence in hospitality, customer experience design, trends and developments in social media, digital advertising, online sales, financing programs, price parity, new era of digital payments, were discussed by 45 leading digital experts. Also, design trends, technological developments and new materials that contribute to the creation of unique hospitality spaces, were highlighted through 20+ speeches at The Red Spot Stage.

For the first time in Greece and exclusively at XENIA 2024, visitors had the opportunity to see up close a unique construction project by Costas Gagos and his team at Costas Gagos Architecture & Design. The cave-like modular suite – capsule thrilled with its design and functionality. Hoteliers who want to expand their business and offer a different accommodation proposition, investors who want to enter the hospitality sector dynamically with hotel projects that will steal the show, discovered ONEliving – THE ROCK PROJECT, this innovative proposal for rental suites or premium glamping.
